Make Your Own Love Robot Valentine's
Use your Valentine’s Craft Kit to create some totally adorable Love Robots! You can even send a robot to someone you love for Valentine’s Day. This simple craft is great for kids of all ages. Read below to learn how to make your own!
Materials Needed:
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Washable paint
- Paintbrush
- Hot glue gun (*always ask an adult to help when working with this!)
- Valentine’s Craft Kit
Directions:
Step 1
Use scissors to cut some rectangles out of a piece of cardboard. For each robot you want to make you will need one large rectangle and one smaller rectangle/square. The larger one will be the body and the smaller one will be the head.
Step 2
Paint your robots with washable paint! Allow them to dry on a flat surface to prevent the cardboard from curling.
Step 3
Assemble your robots. Use fuzzy sticks and or craft sticks to put your robots together. Attach all of your parts with hot glue. Create a neck to attach the head to the body, add arms, and add legs. Lastly, you can create some antennae with pieces of fuzzy sticks. Always get an adult to help you use a hot glue gun!
Step 4
Decorate your robots! The Valentine’s Craft Kit has so many pieces that you can use to finish your project. Add googly eyes to the face and use the markers to draw on a mouth and/or eyelashes! Create buttons on the robot’s body using items from the kit. Add sequins to the tops of the antenna and glue pipe cleaners to the edges of your cardboard as a border! You can make so many unique robots with this kit!
